Mechanism of action
Stugeron contains the active substance cinnarizine, which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It works by blocking histamine receptors and reducing the activity of the balance organ in the inner ear. It also relaxes blood vessels. Stugeron is used to control motion sickness (travel sickness) by preventing the overstimulation of the balance mechanism that occurs during travel and causes feelings of nausea, dizziness, and vomiting.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnancy: Safety in human pregnancy has not been established. Animal studies have not demonstrated teratogenic effects. Not advisable to administer during pregnancy. Use is not recommended in nursing mothers. Breastfeeding: Confirm breastfeeding suitability with a qualified clinician or pharmacist before use.
